I have appreciated the flexibility Crestpoint has offered in the nearly 2 years I attended. The live lectures put on several times a week keep me engaged in my classes and provided more opportunities to interact with professors. Every professor I encountered was very knowledgeable and showed a passion to share this knowledge their students, including myself. Many were understanding when I would experience personal/family issues and would need extensions. Additionally, my professors would take time to help explain coursework to me when I would express problems I was encountering. This individualized support was valuable and I believe it made a difference in my learning.

I highly recommend Crestpoint to anyone who is interested in learning about the law/legal profession. My courses were taught by licensed attorneys who gave amazing insights into the practice of law. The assignments were comprehensive and made me a better legal researcher and writer.

Because of Crestpoint, I was able to complete my degree while working full time. Furthermore, thanks to their incredible faculty and my mentor, my GPA was high enough to help me earn a 75% scholarship for law school.

Working with Crestpoint’s enrollment and financial aid office, I was also able to pay for the entire program while I worked. Because of this, I had my undergraduate degree paid for by the time I had completed my first term of law school and did not have to worry about looming undergraduate loans like most of my classmates.

While I was in law school, I was able to make law review due in no small part to the extensive writing and researching experience gained at Crestpoint. The courses and assignments I completed at Crestpoint put me a step ahead of my classmates in so many areas. Without that experience, I would not have graduated law school with honors, nor would I have booked as many classes as I did.

I am now running my own law practice as a licensed attorney in Michigan. I would not be where I am today had I not signed up for Crestpoint’s undergraduate program. As an attorney, and an employer, I will always recommend Crestpoint to anyone looking to become a paralegal or who has law school aspirations.

I negotiated the purchase of my first home as an informed educated professional in May of 2022. I entered purchase contract in December of 2021 in my final year as a graduate student with Crestpoint. Using legal research skills in the field of real estate, I determined the specific requirements of the particular loan packages that lenders I shopped adhere to when qualifying a loan request. I negotiated with agents, contractors and lenders to varying degree through the process. I took a leadership position assembling and steering a team that resulted from interworking professionals. My education at Crestpoint and Crestpoint enabled skillfully navigation though a complex process. My persistence in understanding the useful viability of this acquired knowledge and the willingness to use it on my own behalf resulted in a successful negotiation that extended for 5 months from initial contract signing to closing. A single (EDUCATED) mother with honest modest means, I was able in part with guidance of Crestpoint, to realize the American Dream. I am an independent advocate and primary agent on my own behalf. In many ways, the education I received with Crestpoint made this life advance possible. I truly appreciate all the support and encouragement that allowed me to grow. I have dealt with housing insecurity during my time as a student yet through wifi and sometimes just a tablet, I was able to rely on the continuity of instruction and extend it onto my personal growth. I began my journey with Crestpoint in March 2018. Throughout my professional career, I have always worked in the insurance industry as a claims adjuster and was always intrigued with civil and criminal law.

Attending Crestpoint has taught be so much about our legal system, courts, rule and procedures that must be followed. I was really impressed with the time and attention each professor spent reviewing the course material during our interactive classes and their wealth of knowledge.

I would be remiss if I didn't mention Crestpoint's amazing mentor program. My mentor Leah was AWESOME. She was always available via e-mail to answer any questions or concenrs regarding my assignments and/or exams. She was very thorough in her explanation, and very patient and understanding. Her communication skills via e-mail were excellent, and she played a big part in my success with my Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies degree.

Crestpoint has been a great school for me since the second I enrolled. Crestpoint’s online graduate legal studies program was a great experience for someone like me who went back to school after a nine-year break from undergrad while working full-time at a law firm. Everyone from the staff, professors and student mentor displays a sincerity for students’ success and comprehension of the material presented. It was a bit tough in the beginning to wrap my head around the legal concepts (Hornbooks), but through perseverance and support from my mentor and other Crestpoint professionals, the courses became easier to organize and understand which helped lead to my successful completion of the program. Working a full-time job and going to school is never easy, but with the way that Crestpoint is structured, I was able to maintain my full-time job, have a normal family life, and earn my associate's degree. Due to my attendance at Crestpoint, I was able to make the transition from my previous job at a pharmacy to working in a courthouse with the county clerk. I was offered the job during the interview due to my attendance at Crestpoint and because I showed an understanding of law, which I owe to the instructors who hosted the classes and my tutor. At the beginning of the program, I was not sure what to expect, but the instructors and my tutor were very helpful and informative through the entire program. Though the material was difficult at times, I grew a deeper passion for law because of the different branches of law that each class covered. I still have not decided if I will continue my education to earn my bachelor's degree, but if I do, I will most definitely come back to Crestpoint. I feel that I have gained a good amount of knowledge from Crestpoint, and I can say it was the best decision I could have made to help my career move forward and help me achieve all of my personal goals.

I didn’t know anything about the legal field prior to Crestpoint and spent a lot of time job searching. When my current supervisor heard in our interview I was getting a degree in paralegal studies, she decided to take me under her wing and train me from an assistant to a real paralegal with my own case load. I loved Crestpoint; it is absolutely perfect for a working student on a budget while still giving me an even better experience (and assistance!) than I had at a private university. My degree was affordable and actually usable in the current professional field, unlike the bachelors in history I almost put myself in debt for. Society tells young people we need a four-year degree (which usually means life long debt) to be successful. They’re wrong. Technical degrees with a specialty like the ones Crestpoint offers are the best decision you can make for your future. Now, I’m 21 and financially stable with a great job that will never stop being necessary!
